Michele Benedetti

About

Professional diver most notable for participating in the Men's Springboard, Synchronized, Platform and Mixed Team events. He has competed in the European Championships, FINA Diving Grand Prix, FINA World Championships and the Oylmpics during his professional swimming career. When competing, he is often referred to as Mickey.

Before Fame

Prior to his professional swimming career, he attended Arizona State University. While in college at ASU, he studied business. 

Trivia

He received his first professional goal medal at the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2004 in the Men's 10-meter Synchronized event. He was only 19 at the time of him winning the medal. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in Parma, Italy. He is one of four siblings. He has a girlfriend named Martina.

Associated With

He competed at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England just like Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant.
