Video game designer and developer who is widely recognized for creating the cult favorite mobile game Flappy Bird. In January of 2014, it was the most downloaded free game in the App Store for iOS. A month later he had the game removed from all digital store fronts.

Before Fame

As a child he became enamored with the Nintendo Entertainment System's Super Mario.

Trivia

By the time he was 16 years old he had coded his own computer chess game. He studied computer science at a university in Hanoi. Prior to Flappy Bird he designed and released the mobile game Shuriken Block.

Family Life

His father owned a hardware store and his mother worked for the government.
