Creator of 2016's hit RPG Stardew Valley. He made the game entirely alone, including design, artwork, animation, writing, and music. In 2016, the game was nominated for many awards and won the Breakthrough Award at the Golden Joystick Awards.

Before Fame

He attended the University of Washington Tacoma, and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Computer Science. He began working on Stardew Valley shortly after in 2012.

Trivia

In just two weeks, Stardew Valley sold over 400,000 copies across Steam and GOG.com. Within two months, it had sold over 1 million. In 2017, it was the most downloaded game on the Nintendo Switch.

Family Life

He was born in Los Angeles, but moved to Seattle, Washington at a young age.

He did 3D animation on a music video for the song "Many Mirrors" by Alvvays, a group that features singer Molly Rankin.
