She attended The Beacon School prior to enrolling in the University of Pennsylvania.

Trivia

She is considered a prominent voice for indigenous and immigrant visibility in climate activism. She spoke on Indigenous Cosmology at the 9th United Nations World Urban Forum. She co-founded the Re-Earth Initiative. In 2022, she was featured in Harper's Bazaar Icons issue. 

Family Life

Her father is of Otomi-Toltec descent and her Chilean mother has Celtic ancestry.
