Vince Danielsen

About

Former wide receiver that played seven years with the Calgary Stampeders before retiring in the year 2001. During his playing career in the Canadian Football League, he was a two-time All Star. He is the also the owner of a training studio.

Before Fame

As a teenager, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Just a few years later, he was taken by the Stampeders during the 1994 Canadian College Draft.

Trivia

He was named "Most Valuable Canadian" during the 1998 Grey Cup. He later won his second and final grey Cup in the year 2001, retiring shortly after the season. He has focused on childhood cancer as a charitable cause in Calgary, both by fundraising and in hospital support.
