She was only twelve when she landed her first gig and had early TV appearances on shows such as Public Eye, Doctor at Large, and Z-Cars.

She played Samantha Cockerill on Family Affairs and was one of the original cast members for that soap opera.

Family Life

She was married to Tony Blackburn which helped her make a name for herself. She later married Bill Harkness.
