She started singing and playing guitar when she was 11 years old. She was an elite high school golfer, and won several junior tournaments.

She is a mental health advocate. Her favorite bands are Green Day, The Killers, The Libertines, Fall Out Boy and The Ramones. She has synesthesia. Her favorite color is green.

She grew up in Ohio and currently resides in the Bay Area of California. She has two younger siblings. She is in a relationship.
