Rock guitarist with the classic rock band Rolling Stones. He also played with the band Faces and collaborated with Jeff Beck. 

Before Fame

He began his career in 1964 as part of the live band called The Birds; after they broke up, he worked on a project called Santa Barbara Machine Head.

Trivia

Keith Richards invited him to play with the Rolling Stones after Mick Taylor left the band.

Family Life

He was married to Krissy Findlay from 1971 to 1978 and Jo Wood from 1985 to 2011. In 2012, he married Sally Humphreys. He has sons named Tyrone, Jamie and Jesse and daughters named Leah, Alice, Gracie and Rose.
