Former England rugby union player known for his strength, durability, and leadership. He played tighthead and loosehead prop but was best known in the tighthead position, often praised for his scrummaging power and work rate around the pitch.

Played for Cornish clubs like Redruth RFC, which is where he first started making a name for himself in local rugby circles.

He was part of the 2003 Rugby World Cup-winning team.
