Nikolai Biryukov

Former lieutenant general who served in the Soviet Army during the Russian Civil War as well as World War II. While serving during WWII, he helped the Soviet Union resist the German Nazi invasion.

He first began serving in the military in 1920.

After the conclusion of WWII, he was given the honor of Hero of the Soviet Union.
