Matty Campbell

About

English bodybuilder who is best known for his appearance as Bionic in the game show Gladiators. He has also competed in professional bodybuilding competitions. He is particularly known for his towering 6'6 frame. 

Before Fame

During his childhood, he sprinted and played soccer. He eventually made it to Academy level as a goalkeeper for Middlesbrough. He stopped playing soccer after getting into a car accident during his teenage years. After his rehabilitation period, he began going to the gym, and subsequently got into bodybuilding. 

Trivia

He enjoys playing video games. In addition to Gladiators, he has also appeared on Comic Relief and The Weakest Link. 

Family Life

He was born in Middlesbrough, North East.
