Lara Scandar

Egyptian-American singer who found fame as a semifinalist on the Pan Arab talent show Star Academy. Her debut album, About A Girl, hit the top of the album charts in Egypt and Lebanon upon its release in 2012.

Before Fame

She trained in ballet from age 4 to age 15. She appeared a number of print and television advertisements as a child.

She won the Murex D'or Award for Best Promising Female Singer.
