After moving to Memphis, Tennessee at the age of sixteen, she discovered "Memphis jookin" and was hooked to dancing ever since.

In addition to her work on stage with popular artists, she also runs a dance school called Ladia Yates Entertainment Academy.

Family Life

She was born in the California Bay Area but later moved to Memphis, Tennessee. She welcomed a daughter named Cali Ann in 2019 with her partner Archie. She has featured her nephew Earnie and niece Haleigh on her Instagram account. She has a daughter named Cali Ann Lusk.
