Best known as one of seven members of the South Korean hip hop group Monsta X, he is both a main vocalist for the group and an actor who has appeared on television dramas and variety shows. 

Before Fame

He came together with his Monsta X group mates after competing on the Mnet television show No Mercy.

Trivia

He and Monsta X band mate Jooheon sang together on a song called "Attracted Woman" for the Orange Marmalade soundtrack. He sang a song titled "One More Step" as a solo artist for the soundtrack of She Was Pretty.

Family Life

He was born in Goyang-si, South Korea. His real name is Yoo Ki Hyun. He has an older brother.
