While playing with the Green Bay Packers, he won Super Bowl I and II. In the year 1981, he was inducted into the Green Packers Hall of Fame. In his prime, he stood 6'3" tall and weighed 230 pounds. Bowman was one of the fifteen plaintiffs in Mackey v. National Football League, in which Judge Earl R. Larson declared that the Rozelle rule was a violation of antitrust laws on December 30, 1975.
