She was born Kathryn Sarah Collins in North Shields, North Tyneside, England. She first appeared on-screen in a 1997 episode of Wycliffe.

She appeared in twenty-four episodes of the BBC series Stanton Blues (also known as The Cops).

Family Life

She and her filmmaker husband, Chris Jupe, had three children, Noah, Jemma, and Jacobi, between 2004 and 2013.
