Best known as Helen Keller's mother. The actress Betty Schade played the role of Kate Adams Keller in the 1919 film about Helen Keller's life called Deliverance.

At age 22, she married Arthur H. Keller. She had two daughters, Hellen and Mildred. She also had a son named Phillips Brooks. Her father's name was Charles W. Adams.
