He began his professional career playing for the DSL Rangers rookie affiliate team. He pitched only 34 innings with the team before being promoted.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Boston Red Sox on July 6, 2016. He pitched two innings and recorded four strikeouts.

He grew up living with his family in Esperanza, Dominican Republic. He has a wife and two kids.
