American journalist who is known for his coverage of Washington DC. He is known for his work as a writer and reporter for Politico. He is also known for having co-authored the Politico Playbook. 

Before Fame

He attended The George Washington University from 2004 until 2008 and went on to attend Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism from 2008 until 2009. He then started working on Capitol Hill where he reported for the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. 

Trivia

He is also known for having written the book The Hill to Die On which became a New York Times best seller.

He shared a photo of his son Ryder through Instagram in September of 2018.
