Japanese manga artist most well known as the creator of both the Crows and the Worst series. Crows was adapted into a film titled Crows Zero and the OVA series Koukou Butouden Crows. 

Before Fame

One of his first successes was the manga Worst. Worst was original release through Shonen Champion in 2002. 

Trivia

Outside his work as a manga artist and author, he directed the horror film Kyôfu. 

Family Life

He was born in Aizubange, Fukushima Prefecture.

Meisa Kuroki acted in the live-action adaptation Crows Zero which was based on his original manga, Crows.
