Professional infielder that was signed by the Detroit Tigers as an international rookie free agent in 2010. He was voted the Detroit Tigers Rookie of the Year by the Detroit Sports Media association in 2019.

Before Fame

He began his professional career playing for Detroit's single-A affiliate the West Michigan Whitecaps. 

Trivia

He made his major league debut playing against the Kansas City Royals on September 23, 2018. 

Family Life

He was previously married to Laura Ochoa; they had one son together named Austin. He later married Valentina Castro in December 2023.

He played alongside Miguel Cabrera as a member of the Tigers during the 2018 MLB season.
