Famous as the father of NFL long snapper Andrew East and father-in-law to Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson. He has frequently been pictured alongside his family and the couple across social media. 

Before Fame

His son rose to fame for his long snapping career for the Vanderbilt Commodores football team. He later signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2015. 

Trivia

His son and daughter met through his younger son Guy in 2012. His son proposed to his daughter-in-law prior to her throwing out the first pitch at a July 2015 Chicago Cubs game. 

Family Life

His wife's name is Marsha. In addition to Guy and Andrew, he has three other children named James, Grant, and Christine.
