Before Fame

At the age of 18, he obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. After being accepted into multiple law schools, he decided to respond to his priesthood calling and entered the seminary for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He would go on to become ordained at the age of 25.
