Croatian striker and athlete whose playing style has been compared to that of Dimitar Berbatov. At the club level, he has played for Inter Zaprešić, Crotone, and Osasuna, among others. At the international level, he represented Croatia in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

He scored 18 league goals for Inter Zaprešić from the year 2011 to the year 2013. In the year 2024, he and his fellow teammates on the Croatia national team met Pope Francis. He is quite tall, standing at six feet, three inches. On November 21, 2023, Budimir scored the only goal of Croatia's 1-0 win over Armenia to qualify the nation for the UEFA Euro 2024.
