Before Fame

At the start of his career, he hosted ABS-CBN's Eat Bulaga! and performed on the GMA Network variety program That's Entertainment.

Trivia

He was nominated for a Gawad Urian honor for his supporting role in The Fatima Buen Story.

Family Life

His father and two brothers all had acting careers, as did his wife, Carmina Villaroel. In 2002, he and Villaroel welcomed twins named Maverick and Cassandra.
