Chinese professional doubles badminton player and athlete who is known for winning a silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, for winning five medals at the Badminton World Championships between the years of 2017 and 2023, and for being a three-time World Champion and two-time Asian Games medalist. 

Before Fame

He began playing badminton when he was six years old. He was part of the Chinese junior national team in the year 2013. He won six gold medals and silver medals at the Asian Junior Championships from the years 2013 to 2015.

Trivia

He began playing with partner Huang Yaqiong, which elevated both of their careers as they began winning multiple championships together. He received the Eddy Choong Most Promising Player of the Year award in the year 2015. He began studying English twice a week online to speak English more fluently in interviews after winning matches.
