Yvonne Kennedy

American politician who served as an Alabama State Representative from Mobile, Alabama. She was also president of Bishop State Community College, and served as national president of the sorority Delta Sigma Theta from 1988 to 1992. She died on December 8th 2012 at the age of 67.

She attended Bishop State University and then Alabama State University.

Trivia

She was the president of Bishop State Community College from 1981 to 2007. During her time at Bishop State Community College, the school expanded its programs in technical and health-related studies.

She was born to Leroy and Thelma Kennedy.
