Yukimi Nagano

About

Swedish singer-songwriter best known as the frontwoman for the acclaimed synthpop act Little Dragon. She has been featured as a guest vocalist on songs from a number of popular artists, including Gorillaz, Raphael Saadiq and DJ Shadow. 

Before Fame

She met the other members of Little Dragon while in high school. The band was formed in 1996 during her freshman year. 

Trivia

She composed music for the 2009 film Dreams from the Woods. 

Family Life

Her father is Japanese and her mother is Swedish-American. Her sister is singer Sandra Sumie Nagano.

She sang on several songs from Big Boi's 2012 album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, including "Thom Pettie," "Descending" and "Higher Res."
