Yennier Cano

About

Right-handed relief pitcher that was first signed by the Minnesota Twins as an international free agent in 2019. He was later acquired by the Baltimore Orioles via trade in August 2022. Prior to playing in the Majors, he pitched in the Cuban National Series.

Before Fame

He initially began his minor league career playing for the GCL Twins rookie affiliate team. He was later sent to the Fort Myers Miracle.

Trivia

He made his official major league debut pitching against the Houston Astros on May 11, 2022 as a member of the Twins. He pitched just over two innings and recorded two strikeouts. Throughout the course of his professional playing career, he has recorded over 20 strikeouts.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Havana, Cuba.
