Yasmin Bannerman

English actress, entertainer, artist, and performer who is known for her roles in the television shows Hollyoaks (1995), Cold Feet (1997), Doctor Who (2005), and Torchwood (2006). Her first television role was in the show Crown Prosecutor in 1995.

Before Fame

She began a degree in modern European literature at the University of Reading. She left to pursue her passion for acting at Rose Bruford College and graduated with an acting degree in 1993.

Trivia

Her breakout role as Maddie Parker in the soap opera Hollyoaks in 1995. She has also worked extensively in audio dramas within the Doctor Who and Blake's 7 franchises. The prosthetics she wore for her role in Doctor Who took three hours to apply and 90 minutes to remove.

She was born and raised in Gloucestershire, England.
