American film actor who appeared in over 220 films, including The Lone Ranger and Red River. He made his final appearance in the 1964 film, Law of the Lawless.

He drove a tourist stage for the Buffalo Bill Stage line and then moved to Los Angeles.

He retired from films in the early 1950s and returned to his family's ranch.
