Dramatic character actor who played Nazorine in the 1972 classic film The Godfather. He also became known for roles in Get Shorty and Cactus Flower.

He began his acting career with an uncredited role in the 1949 film Illegal Entry.

He played primarily adventurous roles, including a Japanese sailor, a Russian doctor, and a Mexican bandito.

Family Life

He was married to his second wife, Beverly, at the time of his death. He had two children named Carmen and Ricardo.
