Virginia Foxx

Elected Secretary of the House Republican Conference that served in office from the year 2019 until the year 2023. During her political career, she has served as a member of the North Carolina Senate, the Secretary of the House Republican Conference, and a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Before Fame

She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina. She later received her doctorates from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Trivia

Her and her husband once owned their very own landscaping company. They also owned a nursery business. In January of 2023, she was elected to be Chair of the House Education Committee. In early 2024, she began efforts to uncover antisemitism in university settings.

Family Life

She got married to her husband Thomas in the year 1963. They have one child.
