Viktoria Petryk

About

Famous for her second place finish at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, this Ukrainian pop singer is also known for her singles "Matrosy" and "Love is Lord."

Before Fame

When she was thirteen years old, she was a semifinalist on the second season of Ukraine's Got Talent. Soon after, she won the grand prize in her age group at an international music contest called New Wave Junior.

Trivia

She won an award at Odessa's International Venok Chornomorya Art Festival.

Family Life

During several televised talent competitions, she performed with her younger sister and fellow singer, Anastasiya Petryk.

Associated With

The runner-up in the Ukrainian selection competition for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, Petryk ultimately lost to fellow pop vocalist Mariya Yaremchuk (who ended up as a finalist in the Song Contest).
