Viktor Saneyev

Triple jumper who competed for the USSR. He won Olympic gold in 1968, 1972, and 1976. He also won Olympic silver in 1980.

He became involved in athletics in 1956. By 1968, his career was in full swing. 

Trivia

He won the European championships in 1969 and 1974.

Family Life

He was born in Sukhumi, Georgian SSR. His father was paraplegic and died when he was 15.
