He had an interest in entertainment from a young age. He first began modeling before pursuing acting.

He started out acting in commercials and modeling for advertisements. His first onscreen role was in an episode of The Wonderful World of Disney in 1999. He is fluent in Greek. He studied architecture in college. He is a 4th Dan master instructor in Tae Kwon Do.

He was born in Australia. His father was Greek and his mother was Egyptian.
