Vera Matovic

Highly accomplished folk singer who released her 26th album in 2016. She began her career in 1974 with Pomiri se sudbinom, her debut album. She also starred in Kamiondžije 2  and Sok od šljiva, both of which were released in the early 1980s. 

Before Fame

She sang with her brother's orchestra when she was a child.

While in school, she studied economics. 

Family Life

She was born in Serbia. Her brother is also musical. She married Ratomir Matović.
