Vaughn Rasberry

American associate professor of English at Stanford University, where he teaches in collaboration with the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. He is married to Tatyana Ali. 

Before Fame

He earned a BA in English from Howard University and a PhD in English from the University of Chicago. He joined the Stanford faculty in 2010.

Trivia

In 2016, Harvard University Press published his first book, Race and the Totalitarian Century: Geopolitics in the Black Literary Imagination, recipient of the American Political Science Association's 2017 Ralph Bunche Award.

Family Life

He met his wife Tatyana Ali on eHarmony in 2015. They have two sons.
