Professional pitcher that was signed to a rookie contract by the Miami Marlins in July 2016. He was acquired by the Toronto Blue Jays via a trade with the Milwaukee Brewers on July 6, 2021. 

Before Fame

He was enrolled in the NCAA Division II program at Drury University, where he played collegiate baseball.

Trivia

He made his major league debut pitching against the Boston Red Sox on April 2, 2018 as a member of the Marlins. 

Family Life

He is a native of Aviston, Illinois. He and his wife, Aunna, met as high school classmates, and later married in November 2019.

On May 21, 2021, he was traded by the Marlins to the Brewers in exchange for Willy Adames.
