Torben Ulrich

About

Danish former tennis player who became the top-ranked senior tennis player in the world in 1976. At age 48, he became the oldest player ever to play in the Davis Cup.

Before Fame

He was born in Frederiksberg, Denmark, and began playing professional tennis in the 40's.

Trivia

He became the singer of the band Instead Of in 2005. He was also a musician and filmmaker. 

Family Life

He is the father of professional tennis player Einer Ulrich.

Associated With

His son is Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, with whom he appeared in the 2004 documentary Some Kind of Monster.
