Native American artist and online personality known for his mastery in hoop dancing and flute playing and known for winning the title of World Hoop Dance Champion six times, including at the 2021/22 World Hoop Dance Championship. He shares this content on Instagram and TikTok with over 190,000 Instagram followers and over 14 TikTok followers. 

Before Fame

He was introduced to hoop dancing when he was 5 years old.  He grew up attending powwows, where he learned various dance styles, and hoop dancing became his favorite and his passion. He also learned how to play the flute. He began sharing his flute music online in 2012. His Instagram account became popular throughout the COVID-19 pandemic after he began regularly posting his dancing and music content. 

Trivia

He was named Artist of the Year at the Native American Music Awards and received the prestigious Dance/USA Fellowship. He was honored as one of the Kennedy Center NEXT 50 in 2022. He has performed around the world in Paris, London, Tokyo, and Manila.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Arizona. He has Apache, Arikara, Hidatsa, and Mandan heritage. He has four children with Violet Duncan. His son  Naiche is also a hoop dancer and earned the title of 2023 World Champion Youth Hoop Dancer.
