About

First rose to fame for his portrayal of Sir Elyan on the popular Arthurian series Merlin. He then went on to earn recurring roles on The Hour and Bates Motel. His voice is also recognizable as Alex Hunter in the video game FIFA 17.

Before Fame

At 13, he attended Eton College and later studied classic literature at the University of Cambridge. Then, after considering a master's in philosophy, he instead chose to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Trivia

In 2009, he was cast as Romeo in the Globe Theatre's production of Romeo and Juliet.

Family Life

His father is Nigerian and his mother is half-Ghanian and half-English. He moved from Nigeria to the United Kingdom at the age of 11. His girlfriend is renowned actress Oona Chaplin.
