Tom Wolf

Affiliated with the Democratic Party, this one-time Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue entered the Pennsylvania gubernatorial race in 2014 and was chosen by his party to oppose Republican incumbent Tom Corbett in the November election.

Before Fame

After earning bachelor's and master's degrees from, respectively, Dartmouth College and the University of London, he received his doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Trivia

In 2014, he secured the Democratic nomination for Governor of Pennsylvania after defeating fellow candidates Katie McGinty, Allyson Schwartz, and Rob McCord.

Family Life

He was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. Following their 1975 wedding, he and his wife Frances welcomed two daughters.
