Tim Heald

English novelist, biographer, and journalist whose best-known works include Death and the Visiting Fellow and Village Cricket. Many of his popular mystery novels feature the character of Special Investigator Simon Bognor.

Before Fame

He studied Modern History at Balliol College, Oxford and subsequently published biographies of Princess Margaret and Barbara Cartland.

Family Life

He was born and raised in Dorset, England, and he later lived in Cornwall and Somerset.
