Before Fame

She grew in poverty in Detroit, Michigan and lost her mother to breast cancer as a teenager. As a young adult, she served two years in prison for retail theft and forgery.

Trivia

In 2014, after being faced with another possible prison sentence and being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, she created her online boutique The House of Rose Collection. She is a Christian and has shared about her faith on her social media.
