Before Fame

She received her degree in International Relations and Affairs from Anne Arundel Community College. Before starting The Financial Diet, she was a staff writer for three years at a digital youth culture magazine in New York City.

With 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube, one of her most popular videos was called "6 Things No One Tells You About Getting Rich." She really enjoys educating women about how to talk about money and live a great life on a budget. 

Family Life

She is married to her husband and lives in New York City with him and their dog. She enjoys the fact that her husband allows her to put pink accents in their home to create her own "Barbie Dream House." 

Associated With

She runs a "Sex and the City" podcast where she discusses the financial lives of the characters on the show. That includes the main star character, "Carrie Bradshaw" played by Sarah Jessica Parker.
