Teodora Cepoi

About

Romanian former gymnast and athlete who is best known for competing at the 1976 Summer Olympics. She is a three-time Olympic medalist and a world championships silver medalist.   

Before Fame

She began gymnastics at the age of nine. In the year 1971, at her first Romanian National Championships, she placed first in the all-around in the children's division.

Trivia

After retiring from gymnastics, she started working as a gymnastics coach. She eventually founded a gymnastics school with her husband that operates under the name Dynamic Gym. She holds a diploma from the Bucharest Institute in Physical Education and Sports, with a major in gymnastics,

Family Life

She has been married to Sorin Cepoi since the year 1980.
