American artist, sculptor and filmmaker most widely remembered for being an assistant to influential artist Andy Warhol. During his career, he became known for his depictions of pop culture icons like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali.

Before Fame

He held his first art show at age eight at a Jewish temple in his home town of The Bronx.
