He made club history on September 13, 2022 after he becoming the youngest player Liverpool's history to play in a Champions League match. His team would go on to defeat the Ajax Football Club. Early in his playing career for Liverpool, fans noticed his talent and vocalized their optimism for his ceiling as a player moving forward.

His father, Srđan, played soccer professionally for 12 years. He is a native of Vigo, Spain.
