Indian singer most famous for her playback singing in films like 2012's Godfather and 2015's Margarita With A Straw. She has released a number of popular songs as a solo artist, including "Mahi Bin," "Ghama Wali Shaam" and "Akhiyan Nu Rehn De."

Before Fame

She grew up in Delhi and Mumbai. She got her big break when Bollywood music director Sandeep Chowta spotted her at a singing competition.

She married Neeraj Sharma in 2006. Her sister is fellow playback singer Neha Kakkar.
